Re: ESXi in UEFI mode

There is no difference at all for UEFI boot. Its just the same how you boot through BIOS.

 

Steps:

 

1. Change the boot mode from BIOS to UEFI. (Steps will differ for different handware).

For a Dell machine this will look like : http://en.community.dell.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/communityserver-blogs-components-weblogfiles/00-00-00-37-45/3731.1.JPG

 

2. Mount the CD / connect the image.

3. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen, if you are performing a TEXT install, otherwise go for a scripted install.
