Hello all. I'm upgrading from VCenter 5 to 5.1 U2. I got all the way tthrough the install and when I tried to login to VCenter with my Active Directory as I usually do I got the message that I don't rights to login. So I logged into the web admin page with the SSO admin account that's created and I still couldn't see any VCenter servers in the tool. Nothing in the dropdown box. Since I was pushing the maintenance window I had to revert back to a snapshot and go back to version 5.
What did I do wrong along the process? During the install did I not give a group or user rights to the VCenter? I remember during the install it warned me that it would delete all users in the database. Is this normal? Would all of my permissions be gone on all my esx servers, datastores, folders, etc? Any help would be fantastic. Thanks!
