Many thanks for the response. To get a static IP address, we have to know the MAC address. When setting up the static IP address in vSphere, does vSphere show the MAC address?
Okay, so if I only use the second NIC for redundancy, do I need to connect it to the network? If I do connect it to the network, I need to have a static IP address, correct? Is it possible to make these two NIC acting as one for faster throughput?
