Ok, I managed to deal with my problem
In case someone else hits this issue, I extract it from the installer of VMware-PowerCLI-4.1.1-332441.exe
To do that:
- download VMware-PowerCLI-4.1.1-332441.exe from VMware
- launch it from a machine where PowerCLI isn't installed -> it will detect that VIX isn't installed on the machine and will launch its installer
- go to %temp% directory
- check for newly created directory
- get the VMware VIX.msi from there
Then you can copy it on the problematic server, go to Remove software and point to this file when asked.
