SSL question

I'm in the process of upgrading my 5.0 vShpere to 5.5. I admit, SSL is my kryptonite. All documents I read state this:

"If you install View Composer and vCenter Server on the same host, they can use the same certificate, but you must configure the certificate separately for each component."

I have searched and searched. NO where does it say how this should be done.

When making the jump to 5.5, can I use the same cert for all the vCenter components?
