Hello,
I have an Standalone ESXi , 5.0.0
It is currently connected to our Active directory.
I also have created a group named admin through which my users can use their AD logins to connect to the esx via vpshere client.
It is mainly used to create virtual machine for testing purposes.
I currently have the following issue:
The Esxi randomly looses connection from the Active Directory and thus the users cannot connect and perform their tests.
This happened twice in 2weeks. In order to resolve this issue, during the 1st time, I added once again the esxi to the active directory and recreate my groups. The issue was solved.
The 2nd time, the users weren't able to connect while through the vpshere client, the esxi was seen to be in the active directory
I checked everywhere and found the the service lsassd was stopped. I tried to start it but it failed. I had to reboot the esxi host in order to solve this issue.
I wish to know why this is happening. I checked the logs and there seems to be no help there.
