Hi all. I'm still facing this problem. I have removed the ISO vib and loaded up Intel version 5.2.5 of the vib. Still getting the error. It looks like the original igb file was replaced with an async version later (vendor Intel Corporation). I found that VMware had released a patch which installed the same version of the async vib but the vendor is vVMware. I loaded it up using Update Manager but i get "obsolete by host" So I'm thinking, if I can install this older VMware patch over my newer async one, I should have no third party vibs and I can migrate. Can a vib be downgraded and retain my nic configuration? All ideas welcome.
