I am having the same problem trying to use VUM to upgrade an ESXi 5.1.0 Build 2191751 image on an HP DL380p Gen8 server. The scan reports Incompatible and the Details screen is shown below. I have not tried to remediate because of the error and look forward to hearing any comments or workarounds.
