I followed
http://www.tecmint.com/install-google-chrome-on-redhat-centos-fedora-linux/
In which you download a script install_chrome.sh
The script will remove chrome; create a directory under /opt/google;
fetch and install required extra packages and compile the special libs
chrome requires now.
After that, it will yum install the latest chrome for you. or you can
install it.
I did find I had to edit the install_chrome.sh and find the wget_options
and add -q. Otherwise you miss its question about asking if you want to
install additional packages.
Then of course it 5.5 follows
http://www.virtuallyghetto.com/2013/09/how-to-generate-pre-authenticated-html5.html
In which it now fires off html5 for the console. Make sure to open 7331 on your FW to your vCenter from ok client sources.
I'm still waiting on that request to go through my security and networking groups. But I will report back on if console works ok.
