hi,Is there any esxcli command to identify the BMC IP address of the ESXI booted node?In Linux machine, "ipmitool lan print" will list the IP address of BMC assigned to the node .. any insights?

Like André say, this file is only a patch for a specific fix... make sure this is what you want, otherwise you will need the complete package to upgrade the whole vCenter.

It's likely more the disk controller (settings) than the HDD which causes this. Depending on the controller you may be able to make this work by changing BIOS settings.  André

This is a simple set up.The controller is on board so I don't think there are many options.There is no mirror array or any other array for that matter.What configuration do you think I should play with?
