Hot profile no compaints after Vshpere Upgrade form 4.1 to 5.5

Hello Everyone,  We had upgraded our infrastructure from  vsphere4.1 to  vsphere5.5.  after upgrade  all the hosts shows non-complaint.please assist with the issue....

Hello, in my opinion you will have absolutely no trouble at all, I don't know that much about how ESXi actually sees the physical sectors and if it even makes any difference between 512/512e/4k sectors...

Hi, you have not provided enough information, what is the compliance check failing on?  Are you getting any errors when applying the host profiles?

You should add the Active Directory as Identity source, next set your roles&permissions for the correct AD user/groups so you can login.

Identity source is the default one (AD integrated), i have recreated it and tried a ldap connection too (tested successfully) but i still get the same error message

Well, i managed to log in using an AD admin account. My problem comes from the fact that i always tried to log in with the box "Use Windows Session credentials" ticked.

How were the disks configured in the old server?  Were they in a RAID array? If they were just two independent disks are you sure you installed the boot disk in the new server?

They were confirgured on a RAID0 mirror array.

hanging at "shutting down" after windows server 2008 updates were done

I ran windows updates for server 2008 and restarted and its hanging at "shutting down" does anyone know what i should do from the vmware console or from inventory like power off virtual machine?

In that case you will need to install BOTH of the disks in the new computer for it to work.  Does the new computer have the same RAID adapter in it?  Hopefully the new RAID adapter will be able to see...
