Haha yeah I guess it was a lock on the .iso file then that prevented the ESXi host to safely shut off Glad you're upgraded now, enjoy!

hello i dont know if its possible but why not upgrade all of your esx host to 5.5u2you will have to check HCL list ofcourse but maybe easier to manage one clusterunless you split it up for license...
